\ This table converts all characters which are not regular ol'
\ ASCII into nothingness.
\ One easy change to this table would be to convert all of these characters
\ to a space (\20) instead of ignoring them. That way, if you are converting
\ a fixed-length data file, you'll retain the field alignment by having the
\ space act as a placeholder for the non-ASCII characters.
